Abstract

In this paper I will try to present and elaborate media critical reviews regarding ethnic division of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s cities, namely Sarajevo and Mostar. These are mainly videos of various international and Bosnian-Herzegovinian electronic media, whose production is in BCS languages, which monitor the situation in these two cities and speak “against” ethnic division, advocating for a unitary and civic Bosnia and Herzegovina. These media create a certain picture of how complicated the citizens’ daily life is in relation to the lines of division. The paper aims to show how these critical reviews are generated via the media, through the analysis of twenty videos from the YouTube website and several other web addresses. At issue are thirteen documentaries from two series, as well as seven TV reports.
