CONCEPTUALIZATION OF SPACE AMONG THE PROKLETIJE MOUNTAINS LIVESTOCK-BREEDERS

Abstract

In the introductory part of the paper which deals with the ways of conceptualizing space among the Prokletije mountains livestock-breeders, a short review of the authors and their works on the Dinaric region sheep-graziers, such as J. Cvijić, M. Lutavag, B. Gusič, M. Marković, Georgijević, and others, has been given. The main purpese of the paper wes to decipher the significance of onomastic categories used in the conceptualization of space sheep-breeder lives in. In this sense, that is with this ides in mind, toponyms and some celestial consiellations (Miiky Way:Via Lactea) have been analyzed.
